Murano glass pendant by Mazzega, Italy 1970s

This Murano glass pendant was made by Mazzega in Italy in the 1970s. The glass was hand-blown by Murano glass artisans, making this lamp unique. The five glass "petals" feature small air inclusions that give the glass a spongy appearance and pleasantly diffuse the light. The thick glass is amber and transparent. The chandelier has a typical 1970s design. The chrome stem in the centre reflects the light and makes this chandelier a real eye-catcher. The chain and canopy are also chrome. The chain of this lamp can be shortened to adjust the hanging height.
