Vintage coffee pot and milk jug duo in Gien earthenware - Socoa model

A solar and retro note on your table! I am selling this superb table set which includes a large coffee/tea pot with its lid and a matching milk jug, from the prestigious Faïencerie de Gien (iconic "Socoa" model). This model stands out for its beautiful ochre yellow colour, typical of the 50s/60s. Very elegant, the design combines clean classic lines with a twisted relief frieze on the lower part, all highlighted by a fine dark brown trim. Each piece bears the official stamp with three castles of the Gien France factory under its base. Overall in good condition. The earthenware shows a splendid crazing of its glaze (fine surface cracks of origin, natural on old Gien earthenware), which gives it a unique character and a true vintage patina. The lid of the coffee pot has two tiny, very discreet micro-chips on the hidden inner edge (see photos), with no impact on aesthetics or use. Hand delivery possible within 20 km around Amiens.
