These cubic design lamps are made of textured glass with relief patterns, offering a magnificent play of light when lit. Their black bakelite base brings a refined and timeless touch. They can be used as table lamps, wall lights or ceiling lights, depending on your desires and needs. Designed by the firm hoso (hoffmeister & sohn) 1910, a german manufacturer renowned for its expertise in lighting. The first production of bakelite lamps began in 1929. This pair of lamps dates from around the 40s-50s. In 1962, hoso took over the bünte & remmler company, continuing the legacy of high quality lighting fixtures.
