Created in 1929 by Mallet-Stevens, this stackable metal chair is made up of a frame made of curved metal tubes, lacquered sheet metal for the seat and three vertical bands in lacquered iron. Robert Mallet-Stevens designed a very refined, reduced to the strict minimum, practical and stackable. These 4 chairs are in perfect condition, preserved in their original condition with very few small scratches. The creator put into practice the concepts of bauhaus where functionalism takes precedence, the decor only comes from the useful form. This chair is also presented in different variants at the Paris Household Arts Show of 1935. She also furnished the kitchen of the Cavrois villa near Lille.
