Modernist storage furniture

This small sideboard from the late 1950s to early 1960s combines warm-toned wood veneer with a black cubic base and golden handles. The vertical grain of the teak and the fine black borders highlight its simple lines, inspired by the designs of ARP furniture, Gascoin, Monpoix, etc. Its two sliding doors allow for a play between open and closed storage: leaving some glasses visible while hiding a stack of plates or vice versa. Inside, a shelf divides the storage into two levels. A compact format, easy to install in a living room, dining room, or entryway, with a top to accommodate a lamp and a few vintage objects.
