Pair of Art Deco Armchairs in Curved Wood, Italian Manufacture, 1930s - 1940s

Pair of Art Deco armchairs made of curved wood, Italian manufacture, dating from the first half of the 20th century, 1930s or 1940s. The seat design is inspired by renowned Central European modernism, featuring elegantly curved steam-bent armrests that serve both as structural support and decorative elements. The frame and armrests are made of solid bent beech wood, with cushions upholstered in white fabric finished with metal studs along the base. A design with fluid, ergonomic lines and square legs. Excellent condition in both the wooden parts and fabric. The armchairs were covered with an additional cover protecting the seat and back fabric, hence they appear in optimal condition.
