Naked man. Original drawing signed lower left by jeanne besnard-fortin (1892 – 1978). Note some slight tasks. Besnard-fortin jeanne (1892–1978) French painter. Born in dolus-le-sec on december 3, 1892, jeanne besnard-fortin continued her studies in tours and then in paris. She moved into a studio in montparnasse and began exhibiting in 1927. His studio quickly became a gathering point for montparnasse's artistic milieu. She rubbed shoulders with gines parra, rudolf bereny, oscar dominguez, ramon vasconcellos, clovis trouille, julio gonzales and emmanuel mané-katz. With the last three and in reaction against the conformism of the official salons, she created in 1933 the group of surindépendants. She exhibited at the carmine gallery in 1933 with maurice de vlaminck, maurice utrillo, andré lhote, moïse kisling and roland oudot. She is also involved in the friendship group alongside serge charchoune, kostia tereshkovitch and emmanuel mané-katz.
