Silver Orient Pendant Light by Jo Hammerborg for Fog and Morup, Denmark

The Orient Copper was designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog Mørup in 1963 and re-issued by Fritz Hansen in collaboration with the Hammerborg family in 2013. It is made of clear lacquered copper and has a conical tip made of rosewood. The shade has several narrow gaps through which light slants outward. The shape of the shade conceals the bulb and prevents glare. The naturally dark grain of the rosewood creates an attractive transition to a black fabric-covered cord. Available in two sizes with a black ceiling cup. The Orient Copper is made from exclusive materials. The combination of the rounded shape of the shade and the warm copper tone creates a warm and pleasant glow that looks great in many rooms. Over the years, the Orient has become a true design classic, suitable for both single suspension and group suspension. The black textile cord has been renewed, and the lamp has an E27 socket.
