Antique bird engraving - Eagle - Vintage natural plate by Seligmann

Discover this magnificent rare illustration featuring the Eagle ⭐ This work of a beautiful size of 44 X 30 cm is highlighted by a thick cream-colored paper of Canson type ⭐ This engraving, printed in only 1470 copies, is a superb ornithological and zoological piece with these colors and details ⭐ The plate, taken from a work illustrated by JM Seligmann, is a faithful reproduction of the Nuremberg edition of 1768. Published in Paris in 1973, it pays homage to the work of M.Catesby, naturalist and engraver of the 18th century. The plate, colored with care, captures the diversity and beauty of exotic birds. ⭐ It is in very good condition, right side very slightly folded, barely visible. See also the photos.
