Chrome metal and smoked glass console

Here is a very nice console made of square-section chrome metal tubes and two smoked glass shelves. In a modernist, space age style typical of the 70s, it will bring elegance to any room in the house, whether as a side table or pedestal in a living room, as a bedside table in the bedroom, or a small entrance piece. It is in very good condition, solid, stable, and the chrome is not pitted at all, but it does have a few signs that testify to its previous life: two small areas where the chrome is a bit less shiny, three corners of the glass shelves are slightly damaged but this is not noticeable once the shelves are in place, and one shelf has a small mark from a bump. The previous owners took great care of it, even putting small fabric "pads" under the corners of the glass shelves, which I imagine is to protect the glass from vibrations. They are very inconspicuous once the shelves are in place, and I leave it up to you to decide whether to keep them or remove them. This console measures 67 cm in maximum height (measured at the level of the uprights that slightly extend beyond the shelves), and 37 cm by 37 cm on each side.
