Old rustic armchair in solid wood – seat in plant fibres.

I am selling this beautiful rustic antique armchair made of solid wood, both sturdy and decorative. It features a backrest with three crossbars, curved armrests, and a seat made of woven plant fibres in a traditional cross pattern. The armchair has a lovely wood patina, with marks and signs of use corresponding to its age. The whole piece retains a lot of character and authenticity. An ideal piece of furniture for an old house, longhouse, farm, country interior, or rustic decor. It can also serve as an occasional chair in an entrance, a bedroom, or near a fireplace. Period: probably mid-20th century. Materials: solid wood and woven plant fibres. Condition: generally good condition, with visible patina and signs of use in the photos.
