Mountain armchair in larch and pine, around 1900

Mountain armchair made of solid wood, typical of Savoyard rural craftsmanship around 1900. Its structure is based on square posts joined with mortise and tenon joints, reinforced by lower crossbars ensuring good stability. The backrest, made of two wide horizontal boards, and the straight, thick armrests highlight a simple and functional construction. The seat, made of joined planks, has a beautiful old patina, marked by time and use. An authentic armchair with a raw charm, ideal for a warm or characterful interior.
