Antique footed compote / bowl in ironstone – "Renée" model from Salins

Charming antique compote (or large footed bowl) in Ironstone, from the Salins factory (marked on the back "E. Charbonnier - Salins, model Renée"). It is an elegant piece with refined patterns in very contemporary colours. An timeless charm emanates from this lovely bowl. It is adorned with a delicate double black rim and stylised floral motifs in yellow around the edge. This charming display piece shows a lovely patina of time with slight crazing of the ceramic, a testament to its history and authenticity. No major chips, the piece is stable and full of poetry. Decor idea: Perfect for presenting fruit on a dining table, serving a dessert, or simply as a collector's item in a display cabinet or on a vintage/country chic sideboard.
