Brutalist vase Accolay signed – French studio pottery from the 1960s

Ceramic vase from the Accolay workshop, French production from the 1960s. Beautiful sculptural shape resting on four small feet, with pierced side handles. The piece features a superb speckled brown glaze with crystallised effects, highlighted by a turquoise border characteristic of Accolay productions from this period. This ceramic perfectly illustrates the modernist studio pottery style developed by the Accolay workshop in the 1950s-70s. Accolay signature under the base.
