Amazing and very rare vintage pendant light from the 1970s. This large ceiling sputnik light was made in Yugoslavia by the Slovenian company EMI Poljčane. It features an impressive frame made from chromium-plated metal combined with parts imitating rusty iron and five glass half-globes with an interesting ice-like surface that produces a wonderful refraction of light, making it stand out as a mid-century modern piece. This MCM hanging lamp is extremely well preserved. The light fixture looks very monumental with its special atomic shape. The vintage chandelier has a strong character that will dominate the room. It is a special combination of a heavy metal frame with an industrial brutalist character and delicate thin hand-blown glass. Definitely one of the most beautiful pieces in our offer.
