Materials: Mahogany frame with old mirror glass. Wood surfaces hand-polished with shellac (French polish) for a warm, glossy finish. Decorative details: Ebonised (blackened) carved crest and lower carved motifs showing acanthus leaves, dolphins and tendrils.
