Vintage table lamp in white ceramic by Royal Delft with a new handmade Liberty London fabric shade, 1930–1976. This unique lamp combines Dutch heritage with British style. The glossy white ceramic vase base, delicately ribbed and slightly curved, was originally made by Royal Delft (De Porceleyne Fles) in their Delfts Wit range, produced between the 1930s and 1976. The base is paired with a custom-made Liberty London shade, handcrafted with limited edition fabric by Catherine Rowe. The dark background features intricate illustrations of spotted hares, Dalmatians, pears, butterflies, birds, and botanical shapes in precious tones, a whimsical pattern that adds depth and artistry to the piece. Carefully reimagined by Amitābha Studio in Amsterdam, the lamp preserves the integrity of the original Delft vase; no modifications have been made. Its transformation highlights the sculptural purity of the ceramic form while introducing a distinctive modern element through the richly decorated Liberty textile.
