Unique Cherry Red Art Glass Vase by Mikael Axenbrant, Sweden 1990

This unique and heavy art glass vase, crafted by master glassblower Mikael Axenbrant in 1990, features a vibrant cherry red color with blue, white, and black accents. The piece is engraved with "Strömbergshyttan Unik (Unique) 1990, M. Axenbrant" and retains its original "Studioglas Strömbergshyttan" sticker. Despite a minor 7 mm crack beneath the outer glass surface, which does not affect its tactile feel, the vase remains in very good condition. The crack is located near the blue dots and is likely due to a burst bubble. The vase may appear slightly tilted from certain angles. Studioglas Strömbergshyttan, founded in 1987 in Sweden, was established by three master glassblowers, including Axenbrant, who has a distinguished career in glassblowing and design.
