Superb large, highly decorative Art Deco vase. Roger Guérin (1896-1954) was a Belgian ceramist of the Art Deco period, born in Jumet and died in Bouffioulx. He studied under Willem Delsaux and founded the cooperative company Poteries Roger Guerin in 1919. Known for his experimental salt-glazing techniques and Art Deco decorations, he developed his business with his son Jules Guérin. His stoneware works are highly sought-after and continue to be sold at auctions and in art galleries. Extremely secure and careful shipping worldwide. Designer: Roger Guérin and Grégoire Chatelet.
