Vintage decorative mosaic chopping board

Beautiful vintage decorative wooden board, adorned with a mosaic of tesserae forming a donkey design. Lovely handcrafted work in ochre, terracotta, cream, and black tones, featuring an integrated metal handle. A unique and graphic piece, ideal for decoration in a kitchen, placed on a worktop or a shelf. The back in dark brown/chocolate wood shows a lovely patina as well as signs of use related to its age, visible in the photos. The few missing paint spots on the back reveal the raw wood, which could be sanded down to restore it, repainted, or left as is. Unmarked piece. Dimensions: 32.5 × 25.5 cm. Condition: the mosaic is in very good condition, with signs of wear on the back.
