Carved indian furniture

Old indian sideboard carved in solid wood. The damchiya was the traditional chest containing the dowry that the indian bride took with her to live with her husband. It was made at the request of the bride's family, in anticipation of the wedding. Each piece is therefore unique! This damchiya has been bleach to obtain this light color. This is a vintage piece, second-hand, traces of use are present, which contributes to its uniqueness and charm.
