Herman Miller Office Chair – Executive Model from the Aluminum Group

An icon of modernist design, this Herman Miller office chair is part of the famous Aluminum Group collection created by Charles & Ray Eames. This is the taller, more imposing Executive version, with a full-grain ebony brown leather seat (almost black depending on the light) and a polished aluminum five-castor base. Imported from the United States via Design Within Reach (DWR) about twenty years ago, this model is still produced today. New value: approximately $4,000. This chair has no visible markings—which is common on Herman Miller editions of this period—and the original invoice has not been preserved. Its design, finish, and quality of manufacture, however, attest to its authenticity. In excellent overall condition, with some micro-traces of use, but nothing visible from a normal distance.
