Large flowerpot vase designed by Italian designer Tommaso Barbi. Produced in Italy in the 60s-70s The vase was made of stone and marble imitation band porcelain with a gilded brass base. Dimensions: height 24 cm top diameter 26 cm brass base diameter 18 cm Very good condition, consistent with age and use Weight 4,200 kg Biography: Tommaso Barbi was a renowned Italian designer and artist, known for his contributions to the lighting, furniture and interior decoration. The main characteristic of his work is the use of high quality materials as well as his attention to detail and craftsmanship. His career is punctuated by collaborations with prestigious clients and luxury brands in Europe, the United States and Asia. He also collaborated with important architects and interior designers of his time (Renzo Mongiardino and Peter Marino). Born in 1944 in Florence and died in 2015, he is one of the most influential designers of the 20th century
