Ruud Jan Kokke Set of 3 'Latjes Dining Chairs for Metaform Netherlands 1986

Set of 3 early 'Latjes' (=slats) dining chairs designed by Ruud Jan Kokke in 1986. These particular chairs are manufactured by Metaform. They were the second producer, the first little production run was by Hubbers. This highly acclaimed chair is included in the collection of various museums, including the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. The chairs have a black lacquered oak wood frame and the slats are made of tough and flexible ash wood, also black lacquered. Elegant, sophisticated and minimalist at the same time. Fantastic set! The chairs are in good original condition. No damages, just some normal traces of wear.
