Lot of 26 old knives (c. 1900): table, dessert and cheese, in box

26 old knives in their boxes, circa 1900. Wooden handle (probably ebony), most in very good condition, some handles have a crack. Apparently silver ferrule (but no hallmark), the ferrule moves a little on some knives. 12 table knives, length 25 cm, blade 14 cm, weight 50 g. 12 dessert/cheese knives, length 20.5 cm, blade 10.5 cm, ±28 g. 2 serving knives for cheese (dimensions 20 cm, blade 9.5 cm, weight 38 g for the first. And 19.5 cm, blade 8 cm, weight 35g for the second) Steel blades, with (except on knives cheese knife, 1 table knife and 1 dessert knife) more or less clear inscriptions: either superior quality nogent e f. Either Hérou rue de siam n°45, brest. Condition of the blades variable, ranging from very good to traces of oxidation and some indentations.
