Four earthenware dishes from the baca series, one of the last series designed by nils thorsson (1898-1975) for aluminia and royal copenhagen. These four dishes, from the smallest to the largest, are decorated with the "719" motif from the baca series. Nils thorsson and johanne gerber's 719 set, for the bird motif, is one of the most popular in the baca series. Its elements are not immediately revealed, as the mixture of lines and patterns is complex, this mixture being underlined by a subtle gradient of colors. The motifs of plants, fish or birds, sometimes alone, sometimes several, are framed by lines that run on the pieces. The word baca means "ring", which explains why the signature of each artist who created a decor, appears in a circle on the back of each piece of the series. The dimensions of the dishes are as follows, from the smallest to the largest: 11x11x2.5, this piece shows traces of use. 17x17x3.5, this piece has traces of use. 22.5x22.5x4. 27x27x5, this room has traces of use.
