Louis XV style buffet in carved wood with intentionally worn patina (omb) – 20th century. Elegant low buffet in Louis XV style, made of wood, featuring a undulating and curved front as well as two rounded sides. The front opens with three doors: a wide central door and two curved side doors that follow the shape of the piece. They are adorned with moulded panels and enhanced with metal keyholes. Beautiful carved decoration of shells, foliage, and floral motifs, particularly on the uprights and the lower crosspiece with a scalloped design. The piece rests on four curved feet finished with scrolls. The interior offers significant storage capacity with shelves and a central drawer. The buffet has a deliberately worn dark patina, revealing the warmer tone of the wood in places and giving it a lot of character. A decorative and functional piece, ideal for an antique interior, a country house, or paired with more contemporary decor.
