Mahogany console desk 1900

Old desk with its very unique style, influenced by louis XIV or jacobean style, it has 4 twisted sculpted legs with very beautiful turned details at the top and bottom of the base, bringing a very interesting graphic design to the whole. The sides of the top have a nice rounded shape, giving a certain singularity to the whole. A lower part with a top connected to the legs using molded connectors. The whole is in mahogany and mahogany veneer, with thinner plywood-style parts on the lower part. Thus we can note some lack of veneer on the top as well as on the sides. More significant losses are present on the top of the lower part, in particular on the left bottom. Defects in the spacer of the left foot also. The interior of the drawer is covered with a dark blue velvet.
