2 magnificent old demijohns (early 20th century), approximately 30 and 35 l, made of fine blown glass in a lovely turquoise green. Their elegant neck, "sabré", as the only technique they mastered at the time to finish them after blowing, a few "scratches" on the side for one, sometimes small dots in the glass, and numerous bubbles, give them a charming singularity and real authenticity. It was part of a batch of demijohns discovered like a treasure when I bought my farm in Haute-Marne. They are impeccably cleaned even if there may sometimes still be a few very small indelible traces of its container or its wear from the past.
