Harvey Guzzini Suspension Boule Op-Art Striped Postmodern by Meblo, 1970s

A large postmodern Op-Art striped pendant lamp from the 1970s, designed by Harvey Guzzini for Meblo. The very large globe shade (15" diameter) is made of glossy transparent plastic with fine diagonal white stripes. It creates beautiful optical effects when viewed from different angles and projects wonderful effects onto the ceiling and walls. The shade is labelled and in very good condition with minor signs of use that are barely visible. Recently re-wired with an extra-long cable (75"), which can be easily shortened. Ideal for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, or offices as a striking design focal point.
