F815 lounge chair by theo ruth for artifort, 1950s netherlands. Black laquered metal frame with a reupholstered seat in a velvet / mohair like cream fabric. The seat has new foam, so it’s firm and comfortable. This is a variation of the f115 with wooden frame. Theo ruth (1915- 1971) was one of the pioneer designers of artifort.
