Ceramic vide poche by Jean Claude Peiré, trompe l'oeil of a police cap, 1980s. The top of the cap is curved to hold a few small items. The glazing is matte black except for the visor, which is glossy. Height: 11.5 cm. Length: 24 cm. Width: 23 cm. The item is not signed. The "JC Peiré" stamp is likely covered by the black glaze underneath. I have seen a similar item where there was less glaze and the stamp was visible. The item may evoke the world of "Tom of Finland." Overall very good condition. Note 2/3 small defects related to its manufacture (it is a moulded item) and a few micro scratches.
