Amazigh XL (Berber) rug in double-weave wool, hand-knotted, Fes 2005. It measures 314 X 199 cm. It is distinguished by remarkable symmetry and beautiful polychromy. Its ivory base features an original design of stylised flowers and foliage, surrounded by multicoloured animals and birds. The finely drawn border is adorned with bulbs and flower buds surrounded by stylised polychrome animals. This rug, with its careful graphic design, is in generally good condition and evokes a paradise on earth or a tree of life. It has been washed thoroughly (thanks to the heatwave!). There are partial wear on the fringes and one edge.
