Hsp painting "portrait of a young brunette girl" by marguerite crissay (1874-1945)

Oil painting on wood panel signed by Marguerite Crissey (1874-1945), a well-referenced artist. Very nice workmanship for this work in a good state of preservation: healthy and clean pictorial layer, note a small crack on the lower edge as well as a small dirt at the top right (everything is visible on photos, contract). The frame (old and in need of some touch-ups, original gilding) is offered with the work. The last photo shows a book about the artist (not in my possession). Panel size 27 / 35 cm, with frame: 36 / 44 cm. Quick Biography: Painter and sculptor born in Mirecourt (88) in 1874 and died in Paris in 1945. A member of the Salon d'Automne where she exhibited until the end of her career, she also presented her works at the Salon des Indépendants and the Salon des Tuileries, where she strengthened her feminine sensibility with a constructive will. His bathers, portraits, compositions and landscapes are mentioned.
