Sunset fields. Size: 46.5 X 51 cm (including frame) Oil on canvas. A tranquil and atmospheric landscape composition, executed in oil onto canvas and dated 1992. This scenic painting depicts a view of an open field surrounded by trees and barns. As the sun sets in the evening, its golden rays fill the sky and washes the fields with beautiful hues of yellow. The painting is very well-balanced with an even distribution of sky and land. Through the use of gentle brushstrokes as well as calm lighter shades used to paint the sky and darker tones used to paint the landscape, the artist has skilfully managed to capture the soft sunset and the serenity of nature. This oil on canvas is housed in a complementary wooden frame. Both the painting and frame are in excellent vintage condition.
