Small adjustable floor lamp, Rhodoid lampshade, 1950

A French floor lamp made in the 1950s. It features a lacquered wood frame mounted on a brass base. The original rhodoid shade (with some minor signs of age visible at the neck) adjusts to three positions on the arm. This unusual lamp is reminiscent of designs by Rispal. Its compact size makes it easy to place. This attractive model is in good overall condition and provides a lovely light.
