Grand French Antique Brass & Glass 5 Light Chandelier Adorned With Crystals 4071

French vintage 5 light brass, glass, and crystal chandelier.the chandelier is made up of a glass central column which is in the form of two decorative glass pieces. In-between the pieces and at the top and bottom of the column are 3 sets of 5 small arms each with a large faceted crystal. To the bottom of the chandelier is a large decorative finial from which come the 5 scrolled acanthus leaf arms. The arms lead to leaf shaped candle drip holders and the candle drips are card in keeping with the chandelier. The chandelier hangs from a large decorative hoop, 10 link chain 5 of which are decorative and a shaped ceiling rose with leaf decoration.the light has its original french braided 2 core wiring which is fraying in places, and takes 5 small screw in bulbs e14s. The brass is in good condition with a lovely aged patina. It has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish. The crystal droplets are clear and in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some crystals may have small nibbles nothing that detracts from their beauty.
