Vintage white glossy Tatay stool — Spain, 1990s

Tatay House & Garden tripod stool made in Spain circa 1995–2000. Original model in glossy white plastic with the original label in French francs still present, a detail that has become quite rare and very evocative of the pre-euro period. Beautiful minimalist and postmodern silhouette typical of 90s domestic furniture, in the spirit of Space Age design and plastic pieces published at the same time by Kartell or Stamp. Can be used as: Stool, Side table, Plant stand, Or small decorative pedestal. Very nice sculptural effect thanks to the three wide legs and the very graphic monobloc shape. Excellent vintage condition: very clean glossy plastic, with no breaks or cracks. A few discreet micro signs of use visible only up close. Original label “117.50 francs” preserved. Marking “Tatay – Made in Spain” moulded under the seat. Dimensions: Diameter: 31 cm. Height: 40 cm. Lightweight but stable piece.
