Round Creil and Montereau dish in blue earthenware, "Japan" service circa 1895

Round dish from the french earthenware factory creil et montereau, "japan" service in slightly blue enameled earthenware of round shape composed of a decoration of plum trees, cherry trees and chrysanthemums in blue which runs around the edge and the bottom of the dish. Also called "monet", this service was produced from 1876 and testifies to the great influence of japan at this time. This dish, bearing the creil et montereau strike of 1895 below, is in very good general condition since it has no cracks or chips.
