Pair of Japanese Kutani vases <Eisen> - 5 - 20th century. Beautiful pair of Japanese Kutani porcelain vases, hand-decorated in a traditional palette of cobalt blue, orange-red, black, and gold. Both vases feature particularly elegant floral and botanical decorations, with stylised flowers and foliage on a white background. The upper part and the base are adorned with floral friezes, blue nets, and gold gilding. The shape is original, with a narrow neck, a slightly bulging body, and a polygonal base with cut corners, giving the pieces a very decorative silhouette. Both vases bear a mark on the reverse in Japanese characters RJ (Eisen) accompanied by a seal. This mark is associated with Kutani porcelain productions. Height of each 17 cm.
