Smoking box with Charles X style system in marquetry

Magnificent smoker's box with charles X style system in marquetry around 1850. Inlaid on the top and the façade of a floral decoration in a vase decorated with a lemon wood knot, it opens on the front by a drawer decorated with an imposing openwork print handle. By pulling the drawer it activates at the same time the opening of the top by sliding backwards revealing a large storage space. The lockable drawer is decorated inside with two compartments joined in the center by an ashtray and a scraper. Size: Height: 16 cm. Length: 32 cm. Width: 19 cm.
