Schreiber Mid-Century Set of 4 Dining Chairs, Vinyl Seats, Three-Rung Backs

Schreiber Mid-Century dining chairs, a set of four with distinctive three-rung backs, tapered legs and a light wooden frame. The seats have been reupholstered in new vinyl leatherette, matching the material originally specified by Schreiber. Schreiber was one of Britain's most successful furniture makers of the 1960s and 1970s, offering well-designed furniture at affordable prices to a broad market. Its designs drew heavily on Scandinavian style, and the pieces never felt budget. They carried the same minimalism and understated elegance that made Scandinavian design so influential. A practical, stylish set for a dining table or kitchen. Width 39cm X Depth 50cm X Height 81cm X Seat height 45cm. Material. Solid beech. Leatherette. Condition: Very good Mid-Century condition.
