Louis XV style commode

Vintage Louis XV style chest of drawers in wood. It has been fully restored: cleaned, sanded, and repainted in the "Off-Black" shade from Farrow and Ball. The top is protected by a clear matte oil. This piece of furniture has already had one or more lives. Despite all the care taken, some signs of age remain, but that is what gives it its charm. The chest of drawers is in very good condition. The furniture is sound, stable, and clean, and the drawers slide very well.
