A beautiful mid-century "Scavo" glass vase from Murano, attributed to the Cenedese glasshouse in Murano, Italy, from the 1960s. Stunning red and green "Scavo" glass design. "Scavo" literally means "excavated, " and this glassmaking technique aims to achieve a result resembling ancient glass unearthed from an archaeological dig. A timeless and elegant piece of Italian mid-century glass art. In good original condition with a small minor chip, visible in the photos.
