Pair of dumbbells wood and cast iron weight 1.5 kg

Charming pair of dumbbells in wood and cast iron, useful and decorative. In hollow on the cast iron we can read, 1.5 kg and "patented sgdg". They therefore date from before 1968, because the mention sgdg disappeared in 1968. They are in good general condition, but in their juice: the red paint is largely patinated revealing the veins of the wood, the cast iron, also patinated, has lost its black paint and has some traces of rust and other marks, the wood of one of the dumbbells has a crack but this does not hinder the use. The dumbbells weigh 1.5 kg each. They are 16 cm long, and the weights are 7.5 cm in diameter and about 2.5 cm thick.
