Pair of art deco seagull bookends in regulation and marble

Elegant pair of 1930s bookends featuring seagulls flying over the waves in bronze patinated regular resting on a beige marble base. Very stylized, it is a typical art deco object that will bring a touch of poetry to your library. The birds are in general good condition, with only a few signs of wear at the stops and beaks. Marble pedestals have suffered more from the outrages of time. One of them has a large brightness at a rear angle, and other smaller shards are to be noted around the edge.
