Late 20th Century Modern Triangular Sconces "Icaro" by Carlo Forcolini, for Artemide, Italy - a Pair

This is "icaro", the iconic model of wall lamps, in the shape of triangular wings, inspired by the famous legend of the "icarus wings" which burned while rising towards the sun. Created by the famous italian designer carlo forcolini in 1984 for the editor artemide. It was made of perforated metal accents and silver enameled metal frames, hand-cut glass. Labeled underneath, signed by designer and editor. The wiring is original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
