Glass paste vase signed Leune, Art Nouveau

Large pear-shaped vase in satin glass paste with floral decoration of pansies in blue and black tones. Signed "leune" in a cartouche. Verrerie Leune (1861-1930) specialist in hot-fixed enamel (France). A beautiful piece of decoration due to its volume and delicate decorative style. In very good general condition, only a chip on the outside of the collar. Leune establishments produce medicinal glassware, porcelain, cups and vases decorated with idyllic and romantic landscapes as well as birds and flowers. Glass objects are painted with hot-fix enamel. Leune closed its doors after the crisis of 1929. Dimensions: height: 51 cm and diameter of the base 17 cm at the widest, neck: 8 cm.
