Here is an adorable elephant that served as a candle holder (i removed some traces of wax) but which will also be very effective decorated with a small succulent plant (see last photo, I enclose one or two succulent plants in the package if you wish; ) if you like these ceramic elephants available for many uses in the 60s (plant stand, stool, ashtray, plant pot, etc.), I offer several in my shop, including two very large ones. But this is the first time I have come across this model, with the rounded "pot" part. It is made of enameled ceramic with pretty off-white, turquoise, caramel, midnight blue, old pink colors and carvings made with a knife and has a mark underneath (ch perhaps) which is probably the signature of the craftsman who made or decorated the piece. It is in good general condition, no chips, but obviously has marks that testify to its age: a crack in the pot part, not very visible since it is inside and which does not affect the solidity of the whole as well as stains in this same pot, the rest (small marks and spots of color) seems original to me (colored enamel that has overflowed or dripped, marks from chiseling tools. I cleaned it with a brush to remove the dust in the chiseling. It measures approximately 18 cm in height, 16 cm in length, 8 cm in width.
