Superb Art Deco buffet with its marble

It opens with two drawers with beautiful, finely chiseled brass handles. The plate is covered with geometric patterns that give it a lot of character. The fronts are fluted, a typically art deco decoration. However, we find with this charming plant crown carved in wood and added to the front, a more classic element. The two doors open onto a beautiful storage space, divided in two by an original solid wood shelf (therefore of good quality). The rounded additions inside the front legs are also very art deco. But the superb marble is more classic too: beveled, it has very pretty red and gray tones that contrast perfectly with the light patina of the oak. There are surface scratches on the marble because the furniture was used for a few years by a florist who worked on it, but nothing too annoying. There was probably an upper part on this piece of furniture at one time and the 4 very small holes where it rested on the marble have been filled very cleanly and the operation is almost invisible. There is also a small touch-up in the corner at the back right. Otherwise, this piece of furniture, which has been refurbished, is in excellent condition, solid and very stable.
